No Way to Spam!

Spoofing E-mail Spam!

Another phising email got through to my e-mail address following an allegedly said notification from Paypal with these details:

We recently noticed more attempts to log in to your PayPal account from a foreign IP address.

If you accessed your account while traveling, the unusual log in attempts may have been initiated by you. However, if you are the rightfull holder of the account, please visit Paypal as soon as possible to verify your identity. (See the spelling mistakes in this email spam)

The only link that I could read is http:// www .paypal .com but the back link goes to: http://gsc-online. org/.us/ cgi- bin/paypal- security/ webscr _ cmd= login&run /secure/

The paypal link in the notification email goes through to: http:// 62 . 50 . 15 . 90 . amts2 . eu . psigh. com/ - test/cgi-bin/webscrcmd=_login-run/update.php

These details could mean something To Whom It May Concern, so they can investigate this scam.

I have discovered that some different people are using PayPal to spam people phising for their paypal accounts' information. But, I have never heard that one of those phishing scammers has succeeded to misuse a paypal account.

That might be because PayPal prevents similar frauds by high security techniques. But how those techniques could stand redirecting to spoofing web pages?
